A glimpse of our tree. 
We had a walk this morning, met Barbara who was collecting signatures, and signed a petition against a new development of flats along the river. Although I’m sure they will be built in the end. 
It’s been a funny day, not like the usual Christmas Eve because we are not cooking or having friends round this year. I listened to Nine Lessons and Carols and took a gift to Siewwan. Last evening we watched a rather creaky old film, ‘The Holly and the Ivy.’
