Christmas Eve 2021

Traditional programme including decorating the tree before noon, visiting the graveyard in the afternoon and dinner and sharing presents with my parents and my brother's family in the evening, this time at our house.

The exception to the tradition was that my father didn't feel fit enough for the graveyard visit, so it was just me and the boys. The thermometer in the car had -11.5°C there, but with a cold northern breeze it felt more like -25 and it took a long time to get all the candles lit properly. We were properly frozen when we came back.
