'tis the season?

and I'm continuing with my tourist theme and some more 'observations':

A bit more brisk today, with lots of wind, so fewer tourists out in the open. Hotel restaurants seemed to overflow (shame, considering there are so many very good "real" restaurants around the city...)

Based on overheard remarks, the excitement of monuments and museums is wearing off for families with small children.

Teenagers' favorite pastime is to take pictures of themselves at arms length -- usually while pouting -- every 10 feet.
