Boxing Day outing

We usually go out for a special Outing on Christmas Day but yesterday was disgusting weather so this year today was the day. It was a lovely sunny day but we were losing the sun as we drove westwards to Lyme Regis. We have wanted to do the walk behind Lyme following the river Lim up to Uplyme following the Wessex Ridgeway and the East Devon Way and then up Dragon’s Hill and then then down to the coast  and along the sea front to the town and back to the car. We had our packed lunch sitting on a bench in Lyme in the village hall under cover. We had a quick shower, then the sun shone for the rest of the afternoon. The main blip and extras shows views along the coast towards Golden Cap and on towards the Isle of Portland, all walked by us when we did the South West Coastal Path.
No leaky boots today but we did have to cross a flooded path.
