Spotted Towhee

I woke up to snow this morning; it was beautiful looking out my window (see extra)..but the sun shone brightly and the snow melted. It is snowing again tonight and the temperature is expected to go down to 21F (-6C) brrr. Our daughter driving back from Sunriver and should be here soon. 

We have a pair of Spotted Towhees who are year-round residents; they were both out and about today, but this one sat nicely for a photo. I love their red eyes.

Nothing new with Ron or me today...we are living one day at a time.
