Liquid gold

After my visit to the care home with Kasper I prepared to strip some honey off my hives after lunch. 
My bees had a hard start to the season with my single hive having five swarms after wintering well I have no idea why and all the experts never agree. Due to the swarms I started a second hive which is the limit for a urban property and it was the second hive that had managed to produce some honey.
Just eight frames stripped and the wets returned to the hive for the bees to sort out but 13.6 kg achieved which I shall cream tomorrow.

I was going to convert the Blip to black and white for Mono Monday but I could not hide the colour of the honey quite beautiful.
