It’s no exaggeration to say I’ve been squealing with anticipation over the new Kingsman film and booked tickets for opening day today weeks ago.
The previous two films have been clever, funny, slick genius from start to finish so this prequel was gonna be good

Except it wasn’t! The pace was off, the green screen overused and noticeable, lack of sass and not clever at all. The whole film I was expecting the true style to kick in. It didn’t . And the most heinous crime…. It wasn’t FUNNY!
Gutted, truly gutted.
The only redeeming factor that raised a minor tittle was the performance by Rhys Ifans as Rasputin

Got home got drunk and drowned my sorrows in rather good slow gin fizz and leftovers
