"It'll be a better picture from up there"

Another very dull day but at least it was dry. We went out for a walk late morning, to the canal at Lathom. We walked to the lock but then I realised how steep the bridge steps were and there was only a handrail on one side. I suggested we walk back to the road bridge. "But it'll be a better picture from up there" was the reply. Mum was determined, so we went up and over the bridge. Getting the best picture is, of course, the highest priority! 

It was a nice gentle walk along the canal after that (after we'd crossed a stile as well, which I hadn't realised was there!)
