Mud Pies

Reggie does love a mud pie. Mum, Lo & Tony (extras), not so much! We had Mum’s somewhat more delicious turkey & ham pie for dinner.

We had a quiet afternoon napping, played ‘Uncle Jim’s Game’*, did some Lego and watched ‘Their Finest’, on tv.

*Uncle Jim was a very close friend of Mum’s family, who we used to see every Christmas. He would cleverly hide a selection of objects by placing them in plain sight, but perhaps camouflaged or somehow blending into the surroundings. Participants would then have to look for them and make a note of where they were. We still play it obviously and it is Peter who has taken on the role of hiding the objects.
