Art Deco Grandeur

The Beresford Building on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow.
It was built in 1938 as a hotel. Architects were Weddell and William Beresford Inglis. Visited by a young JFK during the war. Later it became offices then Baird Hall of Residence for Strathclyde University students. Converted and totally refurbished in 2007 by 3D Reid Architects as apartments with the Beresford Lounge on the ground floor.
The building is B listed.
