Heron and Arthur

Did a shift with the WoL volunteers along the path towards Redbraes Weir. Much leaf/mud raking and brushing, while another work party went and cut willow wands to build up the woven fence leading down to the tunnel. (This link to their tweet may or may not work!)

As we were re-assembling at Stedfastgate someone spotted a heron who'd got himself a panoramic view of north Edinburgh and Arthur's Seat.

D had spent the morning re-applying for his job. So it goes.
