Fake news

A dull and murky day after all the sunshine from yesterday but I was on airport duty - the brother being returned to Manchester. Easier to get back to the UK than enter Ireland but still a lot of apps and paperwork and tests and masks required. A lovely couple of days and so pleased that he managed to get here. 

I stopped off in Drimoleague on the way home. Drimoleague, often rather unkindly known as Grimoleague,  is a bit of a one horse town but the residents have decided to take matters into their own hands and make it super vibrant - there are some astonishing colour schemes to be seen. I think they're also hoping to be put on the map shortly for my image is not what it seems! During the summer a series based on Graham Norton's book Holding was being filmed in West Cork. Drimoleague was chosen as a venue and this little pub was customised with a jaunty new colour scheme and a new name. The crowds will be flocking!
Mmm, Will is now making a chilli.
