Better droplet detail in large ("L").

Today it has snowed a lot; none has settled, but it was certainly snowing properly at one point! April 4th; snowing in London? Right... I hope this means that we're getting next year's winter out of the way now.

I visited Eagle Pond in the morning; Mrs. Goosle keeps a very regular routine! I arrived just after 9AM on Monday, and both yesterday and today, and each time she has followed the same schedule: she leaves the island and flies over to the same big patch of grass to fill her crop (quickly), before goose-stepping smartly over to the (same) corner of the pond to drink and to have a quick wash, before flying back to the island to return to her nest... When she flies from the island she honks a lot and is met on the grass by Mr. G: they greet each other (with their wings lifted away from their bodies, and much chattering/honking), and he stays with her until she returns to the island.
I got there before she'd left the nest this morning, but she emerged from the tree within a couple of minutes (and I managed to identify the entrance to the cavity in which she's nesting; she's not visible when she's tucked into it...).
