This is a present from Es to me…at least thirty years since I read this and such a beautiful edition to re-read.

Just us six…as usual…and such a great wee day.

Doing our own wee routine, although a different wee routine this year with a pup in the house, still our wee routine :-)

Our usual routine is for all to come downstairs together but with dogs who rise between 6am & 7am, swanting walked, run…the BarmyArmy were, for some reason, happy to let MrR & I to take care of their needs…can’t think why.

Anyway, timings all worked well…and we are very grateful for all the beautiful and thoughtful gifts we have received and for the lovely day we have enjoyed together.
