Beautiful Cold Hill

The weather will change tomorrow (it looks very wild and wet) so I was determined to go and watch the sun setting from somewhere.  We decided on Cnoc Fuar.  In the end it was quite subtle but still beautiful (no wind) especially when you looked over towards Ardnamurchan and beyond - see extra.

Did some polytunnel jobs in the morning, including finding about a pound of spuds in one of the bags I'd planted two or three sprouting ones a couple of months ago.  The temperature inside the tunnel in the morning was 16 degrees, but the time I popped in after the walk to light a candle (have a set up with bricks, tea lights, and an upturned terracotta pot to help ward off frost) it was only 3 degrees.
