The other life in Fife

Poppy takes to the train

Poppy is not a fan of car travel, so I thought I would try her on the train, which turned out not to bother her at all. As the more observant of you may have deduced from the photo, we went to Aberdour. We then walked the 8.5 miles home along the Fife coastal path. A bit of a breeze at times, but great sunny weather and fantastic views out over the Forth.

At Silver Sands beach we saw two women from the SSPCA with a seal in a stretcher. They were returning it to the water. I think Poppy only took more interest in an abandoned football she found and digging in the sand.

Anyway, the train worked a treat, so we might take another jaunt at the weekend whilst we continue her therapy to reduce her fear of the car. We might do the Inverkeithing to Aberdour stretch, or even go to Dalmeny and walk back over the road bridge.
