Country Roads

Today was grocery pick up day which means a nice country drive. On the way home we stopped at our daughter and son-in-law’s to drop off something and stay for afternoon coffee and tea. The grandkids were excited to show us their new scooters and their shrinking snow pile. We read a story and admired their Lego kits they had assembled. We called our son and daughter-in-law to see how she was doing and learned he woke up today with symptoms of Covid too, so they are both miserable about being sick over the holidays. They are extremely tired and have some mild symptoms. We feel bad for them. Our new printer arrived today from Amazon. That’s probably our excitement for the week.
