The lesser spotted functional train

Ottawa's light rail service, imaginatively called the "O-Train", is quite possibly the least successful and efficient public transit service in the world. Having taken buses in 1980s Communist countries - Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria - the citizens there would never have put up with the incompetence, inefficiency and danger associated with the $1.4B project. It is so shit, it makes On The Buses seem like a documentary. Reg Varney would be right at home here.

So when Ottawacker Jr. saw, in this backblip, a stationary train, his immediate thought was "this train has at least been moving in the past 24 hours - and that is worth a picture...."

Nearly $4 per fare for this crap!
