Oscar

I've just arrived at Cabra Castle, where my sister is getting married tomorrow. I always love coming down here, partly because it's a lovely venue, but mainly because of Oscar!

Oscar is an Irish wolfhound, a massive gentle giant of a dog. When I was a little kid my uncle had an Irish wolfhound called Connor, and I always love looking back at photos of me riding on his back. You don't see many of them around so it's a real treat to see Oscar now and then. He is almost always to be found snoozing on the front step of the castle, and that's where I found him today too :)
