The Park

Inspired, I later realised, by the New Theatre’s next production. As the blurb for “The Park” has it, parks are places of fun during the day but take on a more sinister aspect at night. At 9.30 pm the sound of a large dog barking deterred me from climbing the hill. At its base, a young man emerged from the darkness and passed me, face averted.

Sounds a great premise for a play.
