Hill Day

Drive north before light to get a hill day in. Part of our resolution to get out more and also for the student who wants to work towards getting the mountain leader qualification. As well as having map and guiding skills he needs to build up a log of days out on the hills to gather his experience.
So off up Ben Vorlich and stuc a Chroin from Loch Earn. Great day for it - no wind, clear skies. Snow on the tops gave an extra challenge - and made some parts quite treacherous. But we worked our way round and wowed at the views from the summit. The walk down was steep and tough on the legs. We’ll be hobbling after this.
Our final reward was dinner at Mhor84 on the way home.
