MENUS

Before we left Mum's we had a frantic search for these - they're menus prepared for the 50th Anniversary dinner in honour of the Battle of Britain pilots back in 1990, which my Dad did much to organise. Mum has four left, all signed by the then surviving pilots, which she's planning to give to the RAF Benevolent Fund for them to auction or use in fundraising and she couldn't remember where she'd put them. Fortunately she'd put them where we all thought they were, but in a shabby old envelope that she'd not been noticing whenever she looked. We all do it.
