Mugdock

A very dull grey day. Went to Mugdock for a walk in the afternoon, it was far busier than when we normally go with many families out for some fresh air and exercise. We had a wander round the muddy side of the loch where not many people go, this fallen tree looks to me like the outstretched claw or tentacles of some strange creature!
The swans came dashing across the Loch to see if we had any food, sadly not. The cygnets have all gone now, hopefully safely off to their new adult life.
The highlight of the dark afternoon was that at 15.08 we saw a bat flying overhead, it did a few circuits then off it went, lovely to see!
The second extra is a wee Robin in the garden this morning.
