Chaffinch…

….again. I spent a while today trying to capture these little birds through double glazing and in rather dreary weather and light conditions. They are very sweet if rather excitable! 
I can’t believe we are one day away from the end of yet another year! Saturday marks the start of year 8 ( I think) of my blipping every day! I’m amazed I’ve managed ( even if recently it’s often in blocks of back blips). The extras are the sunrise and an oystercatcher bathing.
N went back south to Manchester this evening so that’s us back to just the kittens and ourselves. The house always feels just that little bit emptier when the family go.
