York

A trip to York for Stephen to catch his train back to London. With Cross Pennine trains being subject to disruption due to staff illness and industrial action we couldn’t rely on the connection from Malton.

The roads were very busy and despite leaving an extra half hour we arrived with five minutes to spare. Just time for a few hugs before the train pulled out of the station. 

The station seems to have had a make over since I last visited. I particularly liked the large Christmas tree.

Just youngest Thomas remaining to keep us company and help reduce food stocks.
