Today's freshly baked baguette...

I've always enjoyed baking bread (and eating bread.) At the beginning of covid to keep busy,  I decided that I would pursue the perfect sourdough starter and sourdough loaf of bread. Initially, flour and yeast were scarce but I managed to find and stock up on both.  For the last two years, I've read bread baking books, kept the starter going and have baked bread almost every day, most days making 2-3 loaves, keeping one and giving the others away to friends and neighbors.
