Dirty Lakes

Our swim group "Swim and Tonic" have been trying to get together for a swim for what seems like ages. We've all had so much on, or the wind has been too strong, or the there's been too much rain. Excuses, excuses.  
If it rains hard you get all the field and septic tank overflow into.... the water courses including our beautiful lakes. You can end up with gastroenteritis or a water infection, skin rashes and all sorts. Therefore you need to be choosey as what days you swim. Some people just drink a can of full fat coke after a swim (laughs). There's always another day.
