No place like home
Today was a perfect day. Intensely blue skies, fluffy cotton ball clouds floating along in a gentle Spring breeze and all bathed in a warm April sun. My morning was spent making good progress writing my Master's paper then mid-afternoon Connie-Dog and I wandered around campus for more than an hour and came home with 45 photos of this perfect day. Yet rather than any of those, for my journal today I choose this little fella, right by my front door, who has successfully claimed a place to call his own in the most unlikely surroundings. Living and working abroad can feel a bit like this sometimes.
