Coda's New Year's day

Coda was not very impressed when she had to be bathed today, in fact she was quite miserable...until I rinsed the shampoo off with the hosepipe. Then all was well and great fun.
We managed to stay awake last night to see the New Year in. At 7am today I spoke with Penni in NYC and Kevin in Toronto who were welcoming 2022.
Penni and her friend, visiting from Dubai,were in Central Park, where they joined a huge crowd on a run around the park after the countdown... son Kevin and his wife had  a more sedate start at home. Sadly they have many friends isolating with Covid.
We've had a quiet day. Many people are having a tough end to their festive day by being pulled over at a road block down the road from us.
