A fine hack out to Sopwell. Daisy was keen as mustard and we did a particularly long flashy ( for a cob) sideways canter showing just how 2 weeks of no exercise builds up! Iva and her niece Allanah came with Moose and Bobby, Susan was happy on her bike . I was just happy to be riding again. I particularly liked how Allanah and Bobby were in sync pulling faces .
Liz came round for fizz and then we joined friends round the fire so see 2022 in …. Banging saucepans for some reason only known to Liz. It flushed out several neighbours who came to join us for a bang and sip of bubbles at the magic hour. I can report that those lovely posh Le Cruset pans don’t do well in this particular situation if it’s volume and tone that you’re after .
