January roses

It's such an unseasonably warm day out today that we have the back door open and I'm drying sheets outside on the line. Surely this can't last?

The rose in the back is still green and flowering but I gave it a light prune today to take off the floppy topgrowth as it will otherwise get damaged when it the wintry weather does eventually come. I'm leaving most of the garden alone to protect any sheltering beasties - just removing the very wet leaves on the paths. Looks a bit messy but I'm not that bothered.
