The Gate

The weatherman forecast rain this morning until midday but we woke up to brilliant sunshine and warm temperatures.
Did a bit of gardening then we drove to The Gate for refreshment.
Afterwards we drove out to see storm Arwen damage in Harbottle - so sad to see so many pine trees down. Stopped at The Star for restorative pint (him, not me!).
