A life lived backwards

By GailyWhaley

This is the first time I have ever had a real tree.
I got it for that scent of Scandinavia, that aroma of earthiness, the hint of something celebratory.

Like all dreams is was a little lacking.

What I got was a faint whiff of compost as the needles hit the 'life' giving water.

It was deconstructed as it grew like Topsy and I couldn't get it out of the door. It's now resting safely with its friends and family at the tip.

I have now posted 2 blips in a row and having blipped for years am still unsure why I do it.

A record?
A photo?
An outlet?
A habit?
Social interaction?
Entertainment?

It's a mystery, but I have always been prone to overthinking.
