Cone 10 "BACON"

This three alternating colours, multi-layered clay "bacon" is what we made in Ceramics class today.  It must now "age" for a month for the moisture content to stabilize across all the different types of clay used (Dark Brown, Red and White Stoneware) before we can slice it and "laminate" it onto a substrate clay item (like a dish or bowl).
This was the straight bacon.  We also made swirled bacon.
After class I hurried to the Benjamin Library to assist in hanging painted artwork for a 2 month show.
