BDay cake

Today is Mr. B's birthday, even though he would rather skip it.  My sister is the cake maker, but since she is in Italy, I gave it a try: not perfect, but I believe I did pretty good.  Another quiet day spent mostly cooking.  It was in the 60s today, but we should get some snow tomorrow; we will see.
