Sidekicks

The cold front is on it's way. We worked in the yard all day and it was 60 degrees. We heard flock after flock of geese and several small groups of swan fly overhead. This is the first day we have noticed the Canadas heading our way. Some landed in the creek and hung out with this lone adult male Mute Swan. It has been here for several weeks.
Tomorrow we are forecast to get several inches of snow. Hard to believe as I wore shorts outside today. Thankful for such a beautiful day and all the jobs we scratched off our to do list.
