Getting ready for the day

Another day at the railway . These pics are first thing this morning when the men were readying everything for the first run.
One of the extras is the guard and ticket snippers heading off down to pick up the first load. The other is the two sets of carriages on either side of the platform. We did things a bit differently today. For our young driver it was his last day with us before he heads out to England to remeet the love of his life. Will he come back we do not know. Today he wanted to have two sets of carriages  and work between the two just for fun so that's what they did.
