The last day on the workfloor

As a tradition our elderly like to watch new year concerts and they are fan of the music of Andre Rieu. Sadly as a staff we were again understaffed and yes what can we say? Just trying to do our job as good as possible. I had to work from 8AM till noon and 4pm till 8pm. Quite heavy. After work i paused on an almost empty terrace with just 1 Cava; I didn t feel to go somewhere (as i was invited). then home watching something till 10U30 pm and off to bed. But there was not much sleep as a lot of people were firing off crackers. Lots of noise till 1am. The asleep and again awake 5AM to do the morning shift. There was a ban on crackers but nobody cares. I am firmly against as it is heavy noise and air pollution and dangerous as amny accidents happened again.
