Dreaming of summer

Have been looking through photos of friends’ gardens and thought how stunning this was. I would love to get some corms but all seem to have been sold out.

´Dichelostemma ida-maia - firecracker flower is a perennial species of native wildflower grown for its pendulous red flower clusters and low maintenance care requirements. It will reach a mature height of 12 to 24 inches with a 20-inch spread. Firecracker flowers grow from small, rounded bulbs called corms, which must be planted in autumn to ensure they are well established by the following summer.’
Mmm I think I have missed the boat for this year.
