smokin' twilight

As I write this the smell of woodsmoke has permeated into my study. It's not from some optimistic early Autumn lounge fireplace, but from a bushfire burning up in the hills behind Adelaide. It sent a plume of smoke up into the atmosphere from somewhere behind the summit. A great pall drifted over the southern side and it's finally reached us.
It was hard to find a vantage place elevated enough to take a shot, and the light was fading fast, but I managed to find a train station bridge sort of high enough. Anyway, crap light conditions, so sorry about the noisy image.
