The day after

We had a lovely day in St Ives yesterday and today we fancied somewhere a little quieter, so we went down the coast to Mousehole (pronounced Mowzle). We were delighted to discover that today was the last showing of their Christmas lights.

While waiting for sunset, we went a little farther to Lamorna Cove Bay. Somehow we found ourselves on a very rough route up the rocky coast (see extras). There’s something rather exhilarating about being on a cliff edge with rather steep drops.  : )

Back in Mousehole I ran into a neighbour from Edinburgh, as you do. The lights were a complete delight and better suited to video than stills. If you’re ever in this part of the world at Christmas time, I can highly recommend the lights.
