Start the first book of 2022

The last evenings in 2021 were spent reading. I had to finish my read so it would make my 2021 list. It did. I ended up having read 22 books. Some of them wonderful, most of them good, some of them okay and a couple of disappointments. Over all both quantity and quality were less than the year before. I don't care much about the quantity but I do hope for a couple of more 5 star books this year.

Actually last year I started the year with this same author. Which is a coincidence. I'm just in the mood for a crime novel.
