The four of Linnets

I came across this today, remnant of a card game first found under the floorboards of the refurb house. But what game? Bird poker? 

     "I'll see your blackbird and raise you four linnets"
     "Cheat! That card's only got two on it!"

Or maybe it's from Avian Happy Families?

Any ideas, do tell.
