Hitting a wall

For Finn, and hundreds of other pier walkers, the walk to the end of the pier has to involve touching the wall before the return trip can commence. 

I like nothing better than to walk to within half a meter of the wall, stand there like a fecken eedjit wondering what to do next, and head back without touching the wall. 

I am the OCD crowd's worst nightmare.
