Maglev Replacement Service

I'm very happy to report that daughter#2 is now with us, for 3 whole days! We collected her from Birmingham Airport this morning after her successful escape from Munich. Everywhere was very quiet along both her route and ours. The airport car park seemed pretty full though which is hard to understand in view of the very low number of travellers we saw.

It's quite a while since we have been to Birmingham airport. It's strange to think I used to be a regular user in my previous business lives. In those days they had the Maglev magnetic transit system, but that was replaced by this more conventional cable pulled service. I thought the cars would make a good blip for Wide Wednesday. There is some negative space for the car to move into :-)
