Mountains

I managed to get up into the mountains today. Only Meall a' Bhuachaille and the peaks further north, but the higher summits of the Cairngorms were in cloud. On my way I saw a lot more pretty trees and snow, but also An Lochan Uaine and the Ryovan bothy. As yesterday, there were visible breaks in the sky all day, but the cloud over the Cairngorms meant no sun for me. The route off my final peak ended in a race to get the 14:54 (last!) bus to Aviemore that I made with five minutes to spare. Although satisfying, it was an unwelcome finish to 50km walked in two days. The bus got me to the station twenty minutes before a train south, so there was no beer and chilli nachos today! Just a Tesco meal deal on the train.
