Robin Redbreast

Something a little different today from Darren.
We had 2 walks today, the first was the full circuit of the reservoir this morning, where the Robin was captured.
Darren was expecting a delivery so had to make sure he was near home for the first walk. After the walk he took down the Christmas tree and put it away for another year, it literally took him less than 10 minutes to dismantle it and box it up and put it in the under stairs cupboard.
The delivery he was waiting for turned up just after 1 o’clock which meant we could go for another walk in the afternoon. We went to an area of the Derbyshire dales, it sounds like we travelled for miles from South Yorkshire, but was only just over 10 minutes from home. There was still the dusting of snow that had fallen on Monday night and the moors all looked very pretty especially when contrasting with the clear blue sky, which we’ve had all day.
Darren wants to use his proper cameras more instead of just using his phone, so today he was using his Panasonic fz82, it’s one of those super zoom cameras, it’s good fun to use but the quality isn’t as good as his other 2 cameras. This Robin was about 7 metres away, he was using the zoom at it’s maximum length, the photo isn’t cropped so it seems quite impressive, just a shame it isn’t slightly sharper but there are a lot of compromises with zoom cameras and picture quality is one of them.
