Tree Roots

Driving round the foothills of the Lammermuirs with my friend in search of monochrome tree images, we had been hoping that the skies would be interesting enough to become quite dramatic when treated in Silver Efex Pro but unfortunately they were too bland. However, we came across a small hill where the road suddenly dipped down and our eyes were immediately caught by the massive tree roots covered in moss on a bank to our left with the trees overarching the road. Though the colour image is quite striking with the saturated green moss, I personally prefers this monochrome.
