Fishy tail

I'm a great lover of fish and today I stocked up the freezer with a selection. On a Friday we are lucky to have a mobile fish van which comes to the village. The fishmonger is a real character and comes all the way from Fife to the north east of England to sell his beautiful fish. It's been a tough winter for him with the unpredictably weather he's faced and then standing all day in the cold too. It shows a fantastic work ethic and I try to remember to pop and support him if I'm off on a Friday. Today's shot is of the scales on the skin of a piece of salmon which will be on the menu another night (not the scales tho!). Tonight - steak and a large glass of red! Happy weekend everyone!
