Got one online at last

What a day.

First it was very cold and frosty, lucky we put the windscreen cover on, but we wrapped up and got the dogs in the car. Then the car wouldn't start, an odd noise and it was dead. Ah probably a flat battery but why it was fine yesterday and not given any signs of needing replacement.
Called number 1 son at the garage, he sent his partner down who revived it with jump leads but said bring it up, we will charge the battery and see if there is anything else wrong.
So we did then walked back home with Molly, and Paula then took Tanzy for a local walk.
Later in the afternoon got a call to come and pick it up, battery recharged and can't find anything else wrong. Another walk back up (our village is on a hill we live at the bottom) with Molly, but now Paula is worried will it happen again as when they need replacing they do sometimes just die on you, this time we were at home but what if we were out somewhere, so she is wondering whether to get a new battery now. A dilemma.

I spent the day refilling and sewing up my wheat bags and I now think I have filled them too full so may have to take some out.

Heard last night that cousin Dee has passed away. She got Covid 19 back in 2020 was hospitalised for over a month, came home but had to go back with an infection, she has been very ill and when they discharged her it was advised she went to an End of Life home, where she has been ever since. Sometimes able to speak but sometimes just existing. She passed away on 30th Dec.

Lets hope tomorrow is brighter news all round, and I have more photo's to sort through.
